Shannon Scandozza (She/Her)

I am an experienced healthcare simulation educator and instructional designer with over a decade of experience across educational and clinical simulation settings. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Tarleton State University in 2015 and have professional experience spanning primary, secondary, alternative, and social work–informed educational environments. My career has included leadership and instructional roles within large healthcare and academic institutions.

I have served as a Simulated Patient (SP) Educator with Baylor Scott & White Health Systems and as Assistant Director of Simulation at Texas A&M Health. I subsequently designed and implemented the first comprehensive Simulated Patient program at Salus at Drexel University in Philadelphia, where I later served as Interim Director until 2025. My work has focused on advancing simulation methodology, learner-centered design, and access to experiential clinical education.

Following my relocation to Colorado, I re-launched my educational technology company, integrating expertise in communication, clinical learning, and instructional design. My current work emphasizes the development of virtual simulation training solutions that expand access, reduce barriers, and support flexible, on-demand learning experiences for healthcare professionals and trainees across diverse educational contexts.
