Weronika (She/Her)
Virtual Simulated Participant (SP)

What inspires you?Â
I’m inspired by the resilience of individuals and their ability to adapt and grow through challenges. As an OT student, I find motivation in the small victories people achieve every day in regaining or developing new skills.
Â
Why did you choose to be a Virtual Patient for the (A.I.M) Simulation Project©?
I chose to participate in the (A.I.M) Simulation Project© because I believe in the power of immersive, hands-on learning. As an OT student, I recognize how important it is to develop strong clinical reasoning, communication, and empathy skills. Being a Virtual Patient allows me to contribute to the training of future healthcare professionals while also gaining a deeper understanding of the patient’s perspective, which will make me a better, more compassionate occupational therapist in the future.
Â
What do you hope the client gains from their experience with you?
I hope the client gains a deeper understanding of themselves, their challenges, and their strengths. Through our interaction, I aim to provide a safe space for them to explore solutions to their difficulties. Ultimately, I hope they leave the experience with a sense of empowerment, feeling more confident and equipped to manage their own care or make informed decisions about their health journey.
